It’s always exciting to discover something new that can help you do your job better. A new channel called User-To-User has been added to the Teams TouchNet User GRP to encourage social learning and collaboration within the online TouchNet User GRP community.
|
Use this channel to share a helpful tip, pose your Marketplace configuration questions, and seek advice from others willing to share their knowledge whenever you are challenged by the application.
|
Anyone needing 1:1 assistance or a training refresher can sign up for virtual Marketplace Walk-In hours most Thursdays from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Please visit the Fiscal Services Calendar to reserve a time.

Marketplace and the New Chart of Accounts
|
Throughout the COA redesign, Fiscal Services has been reaching out to our TouchNet Marketplace Store and Site Managers to have them identify unused detail codes and org/accounts that are no longer being used and can be inactivated.
|
As changes are coming to many FOAPAL chart elements in the new Chart of Accounts, it will be beneficial to test the changes. Once the testing plan becomes more established and a test environment becomes available, we will schedule transaction testing for most groups, especially groups that utilize hard-coded detail codes in their applications. These involve all uPay sites, both Mason custom developed and TouchNet Ready Partner applications.

Store/Site Managers should log into their Store/uPay sites at least once annually to verify there is adequate user coverage in necessary roles and ensure successful separation of duties critical for effective internal controls. Searchable Help Feature
Marketplace offers a searchable HELP feature located at the very bottom of the left side menu. Click on the HELP option then type a keyword in the search field to see your result options. Scroll through the search results to find what you are looking for.
