The Mason Finance Gateway will calculate per diem based on an individual’s location and what meal it is for (breakfast, lunch, or dinner).
Please note that individuals are allowed to be reimbursed up to 150% of this allotted per diem amount. For example, if per diem for a meal is $50, the maximum amount that can be reimbursed for that meal is $75. More information can be found in the Food and Beverage Procedures Manual.
If an individual needs to be reimbursed for a meal, this will be completed in the Mason Finance Gateway. Please be sure to include a copy of your receipt in the appropriate field.
