Fiscal Year-End (FY23)
The university’s fiscal year ends on June 30, 2023. We encourage departments to begin planning purchases and/or payments to ensure that supplies, equipment, and services paid from Educational and General (E&G) funds are delivered and paid for by the university’s fiscal year-end. In order to pay for goods and/or services in FY23 the goods must have been delivered, all services must have been rendered, and the invoice(s) must be received in Accounts Payable (acctpay@gmu.edu) by June 9, 2023.

Please review the important information available on the Fiscal Year End Deadlines web page at https://fiscal.gmu.edu/controllers/year-end-deadlines/.
We're Coming to Mason Square!
The Fiscal Learning and Engagement team will be on-site in Arlington on April 27th and available to answer all of your financial questions. Keep an eye on the FSCN - MS Team for an updated location and time.
Require Training for eVA Access Starting May 1
All new requests for eVA access will require users to complete the "Purchasing Made Easy - Access Based Training" in MasonLEAPS prior to gaining access to the eVA procurement system. Please plan accordingly and allow time for new users to complete this training before processing purchase requests. Additional information on eVA purchasing is available, here https://fiscal.gmu.edu/purchasing/use-eva-purchasing/
Annual Card Training
The annual P-Cardholder, Approver & Travel Card trainings are now live. These online trainings are mandated by the Commonwealth of Virginia for each cardholder AND approver, as well as Travel Charge cardholders. The trainings should be completed as soon as possible but no later than April 28, 2023. Failure to complete this training will result in card suspension.

All Cardholders (Including the Travel Charge (IL) card) and Approvers will be registered for this training in MasonLEAPS and should receive a registration email. This e-mail will provide cardholders with the information and instruction on how to access and complete this training. Information can also be found on the Fiscal Services event calendar at https://fiscal.gmu.edu/event/annual-card-training.
