Fall 2023 Transformation Boot Camp:

From Surviving to Thriving

November 13 and 14, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Do you find the interworking of Mason policy and procedures an enigma? Do you ever feel tangled in the web of workflows and tasks? Then please join finance, operations, and administrative community members for the Fall 2023 Transformation Boot Camp: From Surviving to Thriving!

Many processes can be governed by multiple policies, involve various systems, and require coordination across many offices within the University that can seem complex to everyone!

The Fall Transformation Bootcamp will attempt to “pull back to the curtain” on many of these procedures, demystify processes, and learn from subject matter experts.

You may be saying to yourself, “Umm – I thought these Boot Camps focused on fiscal topics?” – well, you would be right! AND – This year we are taking this initiative to the next level – it’s not JUST fiscal anymore!!

We are using the Boot Camp to bridge some gaps, encourage continuous improvement, provide best practices, bring to light innovative ideas and strategies, and gain an understanding of the variety of resources and support available to the Mason community.

Therefore, this year we are expanding the Boot Camp beyond (and including) fiscal topics.

Attendees will be able to participate virtually on November 13 and 14, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The sessions will also be recorded and made available online for later viewing.

This unique professional development opportunity will provide a chance to refresh or update important information, provide a better understanding of processes and procedures, develop and encourage University best practices, and so much more!
